These are a combination of professional, public, and private aquariums from throughout the United States. I made these video clips during road trips and vacations over a period of time. Some of these tanks are several hundreds of gallons. Others are much smaller. There are many different marine animals shown in these videos. Currently I do not own my own saltwater aquarium. I only have a small freshwater fish tank. From Wikipedia: A marine aquarium is an aquarium that keeps marine plants and animals in a contained environment. Marine aquaria are further subdivided by hobbyists into fish only (FO), fish only with live rock (FOWLR), and reef aquaria. Fish only tanks often showcase large or aggressive marine fish species and generally rely on mechanical and chemical filtration. FOWLR and reef tanks use live rock, a material composed of coral skeletons harboring beneficial nitrogen waste metabolizing bacteria, as a means of more natural biological filtration. Marine

How to cycle a fish tank?

About 3 years ago I got a 10 gallon fish tank, and it hasn’t been used since then. Please could someone who has experience with cycling tanks (I don’t even know what ‘cycling’ a tank means >_<) tell me… how to? I would like to have a tropical fish tank but 3 years ago I didn’t do it properly and my fish unfortunately died. Is there a particular way I have to cycle the tank because it is old? And what equipment do I need because I think I’m missing some parts? I tried searching google but I still really didn’t get it. Basically, I have no experience whatsoever about fish. I would write down some of the parts that I found with the tank but… I don’t know what they’re called. Oh and my tank is really dirty too and has a bit of mould, will this harm the fish? Will it be ok if I just give it a good clean?? Thanks so much if you can help!!
