Do tropical fish tanks need a specific light or could u place a tank without a light in a bright room?
I want to start a small tropical fishtank. I was going to use a gravel tray and airpump for filtration and buy a gravel hoover. But the tank i was looking at doesnt have a light. Could i just place it in a bright southfacing room?
I actually work right next door to one, ive been looking into it for a while now but i wanted to check that the fish wouldnt suffer by not having a light.
Thanks to u both for ur help
