So the fish will live comfortable
or can u have like ANY small tropical fish living in a 2 Gallon?

Been told so many different temperatures, whats the average temperature for a tropical fish tank?????? should it be room temperature or slightly higher or lower???
are these temperatures in farenheit or celsius??????? one answer states degrees c, but others dont!
ignore that comment, just realised that 75 celsius is more likely to fry the fish than keep them healthy! sorry, blonde moment!

I have a ten gallon tank and a heater but no filter. I have one male betta and I would like him to have some tank mates. I don’t want him to be lonley. LOL. I would really like to know of any algae eaters that are compatible with him and how many I should get to keep my tank clean. I am most intrested in buying an algae eater of some sort. How big do Otocinclus get? Are they a good choice? I heard that you have to buy extra algae tablets for them. I would rather not do that. I need to know of any algae eaters that are compatible with my betta and how many to get for the size of my tank. And I don’t want to have to buy a filter for my tank so I need a fish that breathes from the surface of the water. Maybe a Cory? Do they need a filter for air or tablets? I don’t want a large algae eater either. I would rather a couple of small ones.

I know I have alot of questions but if I get the answer to all of them I am asking you might just get a best answer! ; )

I recently bought a tropical aquarium and I was wondering if I could have these fish living peacefully together:

2 scalare angelfish
3 three spot gourami
3 dwarf gourami
5 swordtails (1 male, 4 females)

I have gravel, fake plants, an ornament, a filter and a heater in the tank, would that be OK to add those fish? (I have owned all these fish in the past, but never together)

If I can have these fish together, could I have some info on what temperature to keep the tank, and if I can’t could you suggest a new list of fish?
