Can i put a single one in a 30G?
Same goes with the dwarf it needs a school right?

In my community tank I have

1 female marigold swordtail
1 female blue platy
1 male golden platy
1 male blue platy
1 male butterfly molly

I was trying to get all females but learned that 3 of them are boys. Can any of these fish breed with each other?

Hey, so today i bought two tropical freshwater filter shrimp. The common filter shrimp i have heard of are the ‘Giant African’ and the ‘Bamboo.’ I stumbled across these and they looked just like ‘Amano shrimp.’ They are small, white/brown patches, and have fans instead of claws. They were labeled, ‘Selection of Shrimp’ and were in the tank with ‘Red Cherry Shrimps’ and fish. The man working there said something about their names begging with a ‘P’ but he wasn’t sure. Anyone know what this type of shrimp is? Cannot find it anywhere on the net!
It has Filter Fans, not claws.

I have a 50 g tank with a dalmatian molly and a white molly , and some other fish. My dalmatian molly got "pregnant" and popped out 21 baby mollies. I have them in a breeding box and have special first bites fish food for babies and am planning on selling them/ giving them away if i cant sell them. I do not want anymore fish, but I think that this could be a good money maker for a 14 year old. (I have a real job but this could make me some money and I enjoy doing this.) If I keep some fish and they, you know will they be demented because there related? I want to know because if I have tons of fish breeding I will have all sorts of babies and this could become a real job. is this a good future plan? as a back up

I will be getting a 40 gallon fish tank soon and i want some beautiful fish in there.
I have kept goldfish before, but never tropical fish so i need some information about what to do such as:
What should the water temperature be?
What Tropical fish are compatible with each other? (I am looking for pretty, colorful fish)
What food would i need to feed my fish?
What decoration/ ornaments do tropical fish typically like?

I know that i will need:
A filter
A heater
A thermometer
A thing (i forgot the name) that makes bubbles for oxygen
Live plants
Ornaments
Dechlorinator
Gravel
And that thing (again i forgot the name bear with me!) that goes underneath the gravel that promotes plant growth
I need to cycle the tank for a week
And then get my fish!
What else do i need?
