i also have 6 glass catfish. the quality is good and everything and i ahve 2 rainbow australian fish. will this be overstocked? if its not what can i get. i was planning to get a dojo loach and then i would be set. but would that be ok?

Can a female Betta fish live alone with threadfin rainbow fish? I went to an aquatics store and saw a male with about three or four of them and he looked peaceful enough, but will a female go? Will she be ok with no other females? Please help! Thankyou for the answers:D

i bought a 125 gal. aquarium and am going to use a Kent Marine Hi-S RO unit. it says its a model RO 120 Hi-S. i am going to use it for the saltwater, like i said, but am wondering if it could be used for freshwater too. i have a 20 gallon freshwater tank with tropical fish in it. because of the heat, water has been evaporating and my tank has less water than when it started. i make full water changes and took out the water and the fish and that is how i fill it with water. my last one was 2 weeks ago and i filled it to the top before adding the conditioner. i am asking if the unit can be a replace stabilizer, because i don’t want to be cleaning it just because of the water evaporating. and if i can, should i be prepared for anything to happen? it know how it operates. and if you have any guidelines to using it can you tell me?

Well, I have hermit crabs and freshwater tropical fish. I have a dish of saltwater in the corner of the 10 gallon tank. I always use salt that is labled hermit crab salt for my hermit crabs. For my fish I use salt that’s labeled aqurium salt. Is there a difference? Can I use the salt I use for my fish instead of the salt I normaly use for my hermit crabs?

One more question – Do hermit crabs need a light bulb over there tank?
Another question – First I meant I had hermit crabs, I don’t currently have them. But I just realized I don’t have room for any more pets in my room, but one place and I’m not sure if it’s good for them. I have a loft bed, so my bed and the desk under it shakes when I climb up the ladder and when I climb down it. It would only shake 2 times a day so would it be good if they were to sit on my desk when I got more?
